The view from the tee of the clubhouse and 18 th green provide a look at things to come. But don't get ahead of yourself, the 17 th is considered by many to be the most challenging hole on the course. Uphill, and into the prevailing wind, the tee shot must carry 180 yards to clear the lake. The fairway is extremely tight with large trees and dense undergrowth on either side. The approach shot presents an entirely new set of challenges. Typically, 200 yards or longer the wind will prove to be a worthy adversary. Be sure to keep the approach from going left, where the ball will kick downhill into the lake.
